Granite Colors
WARNING! Don't trust these pictures!

Polished natural stone, with its rich and iridescent colors, can frustrate any photographer. It flickers and sparkles, with tri-dimensional reflections impossible to capture in a flat photo. The best pictures can only give you a flimsy idea of what a particular stone may look like. And most computer monitors make even that difficult, with their color distortions. So do yourself a favor and don't fall in love with a picture!

Actual samples of the real stones aren't to be trusted either, as they show you only the past history of a stone. Stone colors are constantly changing as the quarries break new grounds, and there isn't any way to force them into a pre-determined standard. This simple fact makes all stone samples naturally "stale", and not a good representation of what will actually be installed in you home. Besides, their little sizes make it impossible to capture the wide color compositions that are easily visible in the big slabs.

You may wander then how to decide on your favorite stone color. We at Alluring Stone make that a quite simple and enjoyable phase of your project - when we show you the currently available "fresh crop" of stone slabs from hundreds of color options, then guide you to a sensible selection.

And carrying on with the "perishable" theme, the best time to choose the stone color is, of course, when you are ready to acquire it - since the slab you carefully selected today may be gone tomorrow if you don't grab it on sight.

So call us to schedule an appointment, if you are ready to kick off your project - and we will make sure that the very same beautiful stone you love in the slabyard will be the one that you'll admire in your home for years to come!
